Does the Grand Ballroom require a rental fee?
No, instead a "Food & Beverage Minimum" applies, meaning a minimum spend amount is required on Food & Beverage to use the space.

Is a deposit required?
Yes, a deposit of $1,000 will reserve your reception date and apply toward your total event costs.

How many people can the Ballroom accommodate?
For weddings, up to 340 people can be seated including a dance floor and cake-cutting table.

Do any other spaces come with the Ballroom?
The beautiful foyer balcony area can be used for cocktails as well as a waiting room for the wedding party prior to formal introductions

Do you allow outside catering?
Outside catering is not allowed. Our award-winning culinary team will work with you to create and customize the perfect cuisine and beverage menu for your guests. Wedding Cakes, however, may be ordered from your favorite baker.

Do you provide a suite for the Bride & Groom?
The Westin Great Southern provides an overnight suite stay for the wedding couple with full Westin amenities, including the Heavenly Bed, Starbucks coffee & coffee makers, plush towels and robes, bedside minibars, and more.

Yes, our terrific Theatre Café serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thurber Bar offers lighter-fare menu, while the Café Express Starbucks bar is another option.

What is included with wedding reception space?
Included for your wedding reception are tables chairs, linens, flatware glassware, tables, chairs, linens, skirting, serviceware and votive candles. Our beautiful Grand Piano is available for your reception as well.
